The recent AIG bonus crisis create a huge pressure on Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner of the new US government. US President Barack Obama already announced his full support to him.Obama said, " I have complete confidence in Tim Geithner" on Wednesday.
We understand this sort of full support is not at all required in the situation where everything is in right order. Rather, this sort of statement was used, in past, to give a signal to the person need to do all his activity in a more responsible manner.
On the other hand, Obama and his new government continuously asked a single question, "Whether the Treasury Secretary is going to left out from the government or not." As Republican members already demanded his resignation from his post.
Many sources claimed that through this incident, the career of the Treasury Secretary was at the risk just like the economy.
